Tailor-made Adventure Days

These are great for families, groups of friends or work mates looking for something new and exciting. Having looked through what we can offer the next step is to decide whether you want one activity, two or even three and get in touch to see if we've availability on the day you want. Our prices are below;

 

'The Single' - A half day activity. £120 for up to 3 people

+ £45 for each additional person

 

'The Double' - 2 activities in a day. £220 for up to 3 people

+ £65 for each additional person.

 

'The Triple' - 3 activities in a day. £260 for up to 3 people

+ £85 for each additional person.

 

Please note - some activities such as via ferrata and winter climbing carry an additional surcharge - please get in touch for more details.

Activity Sessions for Schools

Live4Adventure want to encourage children's participation in outdoor activities. We believe so strongly in the benefits to young people, and society generally, that we are eager to reduce the barrier of cost to families as much as we can. This means that we can offer half day activity sessions to groups of 8 or more for as little as

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For each group of children* we offer one free place to accompanying adults.

(* for this discount pupils need to be under 16 years of age)

Terms and Conditions

1. Course Fees

1.1 - Places need to be reserved by sending a completed Registration Form and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the course cost. Provisional bookings can be reserved for up to 1 week pending receipt of the deposit.

 

1.2 - The balance of the course fee is payable 14 days prior to the course commencement date.

 

1.3 - In the event that the course fee is not paid in full 14 days prior to the course commencement date Live4Adventure reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the client and re-sell the course place.

 

2. Cancellation by Client

2.1 - Deposits are non-refundable unless the booking can be resold (see below).

2.2 - All cancellations must be made in writing.

 

2.3 - Once notified of the cancellation in writing Live4Adventure will try to resell the course place(s).

2.4 - In the event that we are able to re-sell the course place prior to the commencement date of the course, the client will receive a full refund less 20% of the

 

course cost to cover administration fees.

 

2.5 - Refunds will only be made after the commencement date of the course.

 

2.6 - In the event that Live4Adventure are unable to re-sell the course place prior to the course commencement date the client will be charged the following cancellation fees:
•    Your deposit (50% of the course fee) if the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the start date of the course unless Live4Adventure can resell the place (see point 2.3).
•    The full course fee if the cancellation is made less than 14 days before the course start date unless Live4Adventure can resell the place (see point 2.3).
To cover this eventuality we recommend an insurance policy that includes cancellation or curtailment.

 

3. Cancellation by Live4Adventure 

3.1 - Although every attempt is made to ensure that courses run as scheduled, in the event that Live4Adventure need to cancel a course, for example due to unsuitable weather conditions, we will notify the client as soon as possible. 
3.2 - Live4Adventure will notify clients not less than five days prior to a course start date if a course needs to be cancelled because a workable minimum number of participants have not been reached.
3.3 - Cancellation by us does not affect a client's right to a refund of travel costs that may have been incurred prior to the cancellation except in the circumstances set out in clauses 3.1 and 3.2.
3.4 - In the event of cancellation by Live4Adventure clients will be offered the following options:
•    Refund of the course fee paid minus the non-refundable deposit unless exceptional circumstances prevail in which case we will enter into negotiations with the client to attempt to reach an amicable solution.
or
•    Another course on different dates.

 

4. Risks and Dangers

Whilst Live4Adventure maintain very high professional standards of client care and safety, clients must realise and understand that participation in adventurous activities entails some risk of injury or death. Live4Adventure will at all times endeavour to minimise these risks through safe practices and procedures. However, these risks can never be entirely eliminated and participants accept that accidents and injury may occur. 

 

Live4Adventure is not under any liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property not caused by the negligence of Live4Adventure or it’s representatives. When booking the course and signing the consent form, clients are accepting these risks and will be responsible for their own actions and involvement.

 

5. Insurance

Live4Adventure holds full public liability insurance. However, clients are advised to seek their own personal and equipment insurance before commencing the course.

 

6. Programme Changes

Due to environmental constraints, unsuitable conditions, client ability and factors out of our control, Live4Adventure reserve the right to amend, change or cancel programmes. This is to prevent placing clients or staff at an unacceptable level of risk. Refunds for cancellations once a programme has started will be dealt with on an individual basis or covered under clause 3.4.

7. Privacy Notice and Personal Data

We understand that the privacy of all of our staff, course organisers and participants, is important to them and that they care about how their personal data is used. In this Privacy Notice, we explain what data we will hold, why we need it and what we will do with it.
