About Live4Adventure
I began working in the outdoors in 1995, when I started as a trainee instructor in Keswick. Since then I have worked at a small number of different centres, leading young people and adults in a wide range of
activities. In 2007 I went out on my own and have run my own business ever since.
I have combined my own work with freelancing for a number of providers needing my outdoor skills - corporate training, university student education, youth development and as a technical advisor. This diverse work has meant that I have built up an extensive knowledge of good working practices, venues and equipment suitability.
I hold the MIC, am a BCU level IV Canoe Coach, a Swift Water Rescue Technician, Emergency Medical Technician and have been a member of our local Mountain Rescue Team for the past 25 years.
All of Live4Adventure's staff are similarly experienced and qualified. We strongly believe that outdoor experiences can be very powerful and often allow people to learn about themselves and those around them in a life changing way. We also understand the apprehension some parents may feel when their children are away from home and see one of our roles as being one of helping people discover something within themselves in a safe and supportive manner.
